PMFME

The PMFME (Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises) scheme was launched under Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan in 2020 for 5 years from 2020-21 to 2024-25. It aims to increase the existing micro-enterprises operating in the food processing industries in the unorganised segment and formalise them with a special focus on supporting Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), producers cooperatives and Self-Help Groups (SHGs) engaged in the agri-food processing sector. In this project we are working in 2 states and enrolled 1208 candidates.

FoSTac Training

The FoSTac (Food Safety Training and Certification) program, implemented under the guidance of the Designated Officer-cum-Sub-Divisional Officer, Ramgarh, aims To enhance the availability of skilled/ trained manpower in the food industry. Creating an improved environment of self-compliance to FSS Act, Rules and Regulations by the responsible Food Businesses. Bringing a behavioural change and inculcating a culture of Food safety in the country.

From 2021 to 2023, we enrolled 525 candidates and successfully certified all of them.

JJM

The Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) project, implemented by MP Jal Nigam ‘Maryadit’, aims to provide functional household tap connections to rural households in Madhya Pradesh. The project focuses on ensuring universal access to safe and adequate drinking water, improving health and hygiene, and enhancing the quality of life for rural communities. By promoting water security and sustainability, JJM seeks to transform the lives of millions of people in the state. In this project, we visited 156 villages and made people aware through social activities like Jan Sabha, Gram Sabha, Natak and poster competitions or rally in schools etc.

SHG

The SHG (Self-Help Group) project, implemented by SUDA Haryana, empowers women from urban poor households by promoting self-reliance and entrepreneurship. Through capacity building, skill training, and financial assistance, the project enables SHG members to access better livelihood opportunities, improve their socio-economic status, and contribute to the overall development of their communities.

From 2022 to 2023, we have been working across 7 districts under the SHG project, successfully creating 348 SHG groups so far.

Workshops - IASC

In Assam, IASC workshops on hazardous cleaning of sewers and septic tanks in which we conducted 30 workshops from 2019 to 2020, equip sanitation workers with essential skills and safety protocols to handle high-risk cleaning tasks. These sessions focus on properly using personal protective equipment, adherence to rigorous safety measures, and environmentally responsible practices, ensuring that workers can manage toxic substances safely and effectively while mitigating health risks.

Workshops - NSKFDC

In 2022-2023, NSKFDC sanctioned 29 specialized workshops in the State of Assam to aimed at preventing hazardous cleaning practices in sewers and septic tanks. These workshops are designed to enhance the safety and operational skills of sanitation workers by providing comprehensive training on the proper use of personal protective equipment, adherence to safety protocols, and effective risk mitigation strategies. Through hands-on sessions and interactive learning, the initiative seeks to significantly reduce occupational hazards while promoting environmentally responsible cleaning practices across the region.
